The final Cross Country leg!

Hayley Wherry 7th March 2016

Today was the final stage of the Primary Cross Country league.

It was a cold, bitter and windy winters afternoon at Cape Cornwall Secondary School, but this did not stop our fantastic team giving their best and competing to a high level.

Each race consisted of between 25 and 45 runners, running at different age related distances.  The children shown stamina and determination to go out on a high with many of them getting their personal bests for the season and many coming in the top 20 for their race.

Well done to Jenna, Max, Sunny, William, Leo, Jonty, Jacob and Sienna for taking part.

We are now excited to see if anyone has done well enough throughout the season to compete in the Penwith Cross Country Finals in Newquay in a few weeks time.

A great season team, well done, you were fab!

To keep up our fitness, Cross Country club will still continue throughout the summer term.
