St Michael’s Mount

jlovelock 1st October 2016

Class 4 went on their first trip of the year this week, and they were fantastic!

The children of Eddystone have settled well into life as Year 4!

On Friday, Class 4 went on an adventure to St Michael’s Mount. After a wet start to the week, where the weather held us off from going, we powered through to finally reach Friday. The weather was kind to us and off we went!

The children walked across the ancient causeway towards the mount, looking at the life in the small pools of water as they passed. We trudged up the many steps all the way to the top where Class 4 were treated to a guided tour around the castle and grounds. The children asked may interesting questions and were fully immersed in the day. We had many passing comments on how well behaved and respectful Class 4 were. A massive congratulations to them!

We are already looking forward to our next trip.
