Rounders League

awheeler 24th June 2015

Well done to all of the children who took part in the final matches of the league last night. We were only scheduled to play in one, but due to a match being previously cancelled, we were able to play that game last night as well.

The first game was against St Just. The team fielded first and worked incredibly hard together to keep their scoring down. Upon our turn to bat, they worked just as hard until unfortunately all of our players had been knocked out. The final score was 8.5-9 to St Just. So close!

The next game was against Gwinear. Again, we fielded first and put up a good defence. When it was our turn to bat, the rounders just kept coming with a few near misses at whole rounders too! The team worked continuously until the end and won 6-3.5.

A great end to a brilliant tournament.

Well done to all of the children who have played in the league; Callum K, Jack, Michael, Ollie, Rhys, Beau, Tilly, Georgia M, Lara, Kacey and Chloe. You all represented the school well and did yourselves proud!
