Pendeen Class (Year 3)

Hayley Wherry 4th October 2016

pendeen-heroPendeen Class have had a great start to this academic year and have been working incredibly hard and giving their best in all areas of the curriculum and school life.

Our class country is Brazil and we have already been finding out a lot about it.

Recently we went on a trip to Tehidy Woods, where the woods became our ‘Amazon Rainforest’ for the day.

The children hid in leafy dens, looked up high for the exotic birds and animals and down low for the minibeasts on the forest floor.

They even experienced some wet and wild rainforest rain whilst feeding the wild animals.  Finally they followed the Amazon River to the deepest part of the forest, where they showed great team work to build shelters for their picnic lunch.

They were soggy, but smiley and had a great day working together.

You were all brilliant explorers and used your imagination and team work skills well.

Well done, a great start to the year.
