Ludgvan footballers make strong start.

aanderson 20th October 2015

On Wednesday 19th October, our school football team played Penpol.

It was our team”s first game of their league campaign and hope were high against a team who had already won their initial match.

After a strong start, it was Ludgvan who broke the deadlock in a matter of minutes and the goals continued to flow throughout the match. Strong work in midfield from Tommy Harrington ensured that the Penpol players had no time on the ball, whilst Jacob Morrall and Alastair Harris were eliminating any attacking threat before it could even get to our unbeatable goalie Jake Scotney. At the other end of the field, the creative vision of Tom Prowse and Ryan Townson was too much for the opposition to handle and the clinical finishing of Harry Neal ensured a fantastic 7-0 victory.

Well done boys!

Goal scorers: Harry (3), Ryan (2), Tom and Tommy.
