From time to time, you might have found yourself taking a class teddy on holiday with you or spending the weekend with you. However, we have sent one of our bears on an expedition that is like no other. Dr Huw Lewis-Jones has taken a little Ludgvan bear (Named Louis) on an expedition to the Antarctica!….Not just the Antarctica, but to Cape Denison, a rocky headland in the Commonwealth Bay, on the other side of Australia – 10,892 miles away, to be precise! They will be staying in the Mawsons Huts (named after the explorer, Sir Douglas Mawson). As photos are sent back to me, I will post Louis’ progress in this blog. We wish Dr Huw and Louis a safe and prosperous journey.
This is where they will be staying in Antarctica.
(Monday 4th January, 5:30am)…And off they go!Back Class's blogBack Principals Blog's blog
