Hit the surf!

hgriffiths 25th August 2016

This week class 5 were lucky enough to be invited by the RNLI to part take in some Beach safety activities! A fantastic morning was had by all, and the children (and adults!) all learnt some valuable new skills.

The morning started with an informative beach safety talk, the children then got their wet suits on and quite literally “hit the surf”, they were able to practise their life saving skills, something  paddle boarding safely on our Cornish beaches.

We then enjoyed our lunches in the (rare) Cornish sunshine down on the beach! A fabulous day , thank you to the RNLI and Hayle Surf Life Saving Club for inviting us!
