Football vs Penpol

aanderson 20th January 2016

On Friday 15th January, our football team traveled to Hayle to play  a league match against Penpol. After defeating Penpol earlier in the year, our boys arrived full of confidence. However, a close first half ended goalless with Ludgvan not able to overcome the slanted pitch or dogged Penpol defence. A half time substitution saw William Wallis make his debut for the school team and he immediately made an impact with several devastating runs. Continued pressure saw Ludgvan break through, eventually winning the game 3-0 with a goal from Harry Neal and 2 from Tommy Harrington. Well done boys.

Players: Jake Scotney, Jacob Morrall. Alastair Harris, Tommy Harrington, Naite Wal, Tom Prowse, Harry Neal and William Wallis.

Our Children in Need Sponsored Ramble was a huge success. All children are now back at school - tired, but triumphant! Thank you to the FLS for providing drinks and biscuits. ... See MoreSee Less
