Football vs Bodriggy

aanderson 26th January 2016

On a surprisingly sunny evening, our team headed to Bodriggy with high hopes. After a slow start, a unstoppable finish from Tom following a pin point cross from Ryan gave Ludgvan lead. It wasn’t long until that lead was doubled after William Wallis broke through the Bodriggy defence and his lightening pace ensured he had time to fire in Ludgvan’s second and his first ever goal for the school! Tom almost doubled his tally with a long range shot that cannoned off the crossbar, whilst at the end other end of the pitch, Jake Scotney was producing some solid stops and Alastair Harris was regularly thwarting the Bodriggy attacks with key interceptions. In the second half, the boys used the space of the large pitch well and some surging runs from Tommy really began to dominate proceedings. Despite a breakaway goal for Bodriggy, further goals from Ryan (2) and Tommy (2) cemented  a comfortable 6-1 victory. Well done boys.

Jake Scotney, Jacob Morrall, Alastair Harris, Tommy Harrington, Tom Prowse, Ryan Townson, William Wallis and Naite Wal.

Goals: William Wallis, Tom Prowse, Tommy Harrington (2) and Ryan Townson (2).
