Early Years visit the dairy farm

awheeler 25th January 2016

Today, Early Years had an excellent trip to visit Poppy’s dairy farm. With the help of her mum and dad (Thank you Fiona and Ben!) we had a guided tour around the daily workings of the farm. We were lucky enough to see cows, calves, pigs and a Shetland pony! It was really interesting to find out what the cows eat, where they live, how the farmer gets the milk and what happens to it when it leaves the farm. We all had a brilliant time and returned to school very tired from all the fresh air! Thanks again Fiona and Ben!
