Bring your bear to school day!

gwright 14th January 2015

For the last two weeks in English, Godrevy has been reading Soggy the Bear! For those of you who are not familiar with the story it is about a bear who goes on holiday to St. Ives and is left on a beach by his owner! On top of a sandcastle he watches the tide come in, is swept out to sea before being rescued by a fisherman. At the end of the story he visits school with the fisherman, teaching children about safety by the sea.

Godrevy wanted to write their own adventure story, using their favourite teddy bears! On Tuesday we all brought our bears in and created an adventure for our bear, we all really enjoyed our day and had lots of fun with our bears in school!

We are hoping to visit the beach soon to make our own sandcastles with our bears. When the weather has improved a text will let you know when this is happening.
